How you can boost your self confidence before attending any Job Interview?

Getting prepared for a job interview is the most important thing you should consider before going for any job interview. Like the saying goes, " He who fails to plan, plans to fail", cannot be over emphasized before going for an interview. A lot of persons make the mistake of waiting for the day they are called up for the job interview before making preparations for it but even as it may sound convenient to do, you would end up shooting yourself on the foot by just waiting for that day you are called up before making preparations.
When you are called up for an interview, there are so many things that will be going through your mind, you will  feel very tensed, and your body begins to shiver, in that point of mind confusion, you lack concentration and focus to what brought you there in the first place.

Your prospective employer really wants to see you deliver your best so he or she can access you properly to know if you are fit for the job, but if you become very nervous during the interview as a result of lack of preparations, you would end up saying and doing things you are not supposed to do in the present of your prospective employer.

Below are some of the tips you may use to boost your self confidence and increase your chances of getting that dream job of yours.

Tip 1: Find out about the Company's values.

Make sure you take out time to find out about the company, their values, dressing  code, for example if you plan to work in a bank, you would most likely dress corporate with a well ironed sleeve shirt, pair of trousers, suitable tile and pair of shoes to match but if it is social media company like Facebook, you could just put on a pair of jean trousers and a T-shirt to match. In terms of values, you should take out time to know about the company's major operations, their line of business and the position you applied for .

Tip 2:  Concentrate more on what you can do best for the company.

Think of those values and things you know that you can offer to the company. Most employers are more concerned about knowing what you have to offer to the company, its not all about your grades or certificate, its all about your personal skills and doing what you know how to do best that will benefit the company and your employer as well. No one wants to pay you for only what you know, they would rather pay you for what you know and what you can do with what you know, so concentrate more on what you can offer the company and you would be so glad you did.

Tip 3: Learn to make use of the principle Autosuggestion.

For those familiar with the area of mind psychology known as autosuggestion, you do not need a lot of convincing to accept how powerful this tool could be in the hand of any one who knows how to use it properly and constructively. It involves you writing down what you want the outcome of your interview to look like in form of written statement or goal and repeating the statements aloud to yourself in the morning when you wake up and at night before going to bed, also on the day of the interview, make sure you repeat your written statement several times before going for the interview. You can make use of these words for example,
" I believe I have all what it takes to pass this interview and to be given the job I so desire, I can now see myself performing to the expectation of whoever is interviewing me (make sure you visualize it as you say it)".
By doing so, you are making use of the principle of autosuggestion and this in turn would help boost your level of confidence and performance.

Tip 4: Do not forget to put God first.

This is the most important tip of all because with God, all things are possible so you must endeavor to put God into the equation of things and he would sure direct your parts. All you need to do is pray to your God and believe your prayer for success in the interview and in getting your dream job has been answered.
