How to Open a Gmail Account?

Google mail delivery services popularly called Gmail is one of the best platform or email site to send and receive emails. It offers a very unique feature and very easy to use platform. Some of the steps you can use to opens a Gmail account include the following;

Step 1: Logon to www.gmail.com, using your web browser.

Step 2: Click on "Create Account" and wait for the next page to come up.

 

Step 3: Fill in your required details such as your "First and last name, the email address you want to open, password, etc." in the boxes provided as shown above.

Step 4: When you are done with filling your details in each box provided, you need to verify your account, this can be done with either phone or text verification. The one used in this post is text verification where you get to type in displayed text in the text box provided. When you are done, click on the "Agree to Google terms and condition button", before clicking to continue.

 

Step 5: You need to verify your account with the phone number you provided either through text message or voice call, click on your preferred  choice and "continue button" to take you to the next page.

 

Step 6: A verification code would be sent to the phone number you provided, if it is sent as a text message, type in the code in the verification box provided and click continue as shown below:

 

Step 7: It takes you to the "Create your Google+ Profile", you can chose to create it, or just click "No, thank".

 

Step 8: Allow the "Welcome" page to appear after which you click on "Continue to Email", and you are done.
