How to Open a Facebook Account?

Facebook is proving to be the largest social media on planet earth with its vast use of users, thanks to one of its founders and CEO of facebook.com, Mark Zuckerberg. Though it is very easy to open an account with facebook, lots of other persons do not know how to go about it. Some of the steps taken to open an account with facebook are listed below.

Step one: Log on to www.facebook.com and wait for the page to come up.

Step 2: Enter your details such as "First name",  "Last name", "Email or mobile number", "Password", "Birthday", "Gender, i.e, male or female", then you click "Sign up" as shown below;

 

Step 3: Wait for the next page to come up as shown below and click "continue";

 

Step 3:  Enter the text as seen, in the box and click continue.

 

Step 5: You would need to use a phone to verify your account as shown below, click on "Enter Number".

 

Step 6: A "Please re-enter your password" dialogue box appears, reenter your password and click submit as shown below;

 

 

Step 6: The "Confirm your number" dialogue box appears, select your country code from list of country codes, type in your phone number, and click "continue" as shown below;

 

Step 7: A code would be sent in form of text message to the number you provided, enter the code in the dialogue box and click "Confirm" button.

Step 8: Click on "Save Settings" in the next dialogue box that appears as shown below:

 Step 9: A 'thank you' page appears, click on okay and you are done with opening an account with facebook.
