If you are going through hard and unpleasant times right now, I want you to pause for a minute and have a deep reflection about what am about to tell you right now. Do you know that more than half of the population of people who aspire to achieve a particular thing in life; things like wealth, good health, power, success, love, often give up 'ten feet' away from achieving their dreams or desire in life?
Do you also know that winners are 'die hard' individuals who persists no matter how hard the going seems tough for them? Success in any area of life and greatness in any area is born out of struggle and criticism; by struggle, I mean you have to be determined, focused and never give up and by criticism, there are times people around would want to discourage you by criticizing your works or whatever it is you stand for.
At a point when it seems all hope is lost due to criticism and a dozen load of failed attempt, is when your strength is heightened and if you persist further, you will surely win. I love the saying, 'when the going gets tough, the tough gets going' because at a point when the tough gets going is when opportunities that seem out of reach, begins to surface and that in itself is strength.
In conclusion, there is no such thing as a smooth mountain, as mountains are made of ups and downs and that in itself is strength. For the one that aspires to be at the top, there are obstacles and challenges that should be dealt with, rough edges that should be stepped upon and no other best way to overcome all of these obstacles but by persistent and continuous efforts of the man that know no such thing as defeat.
