Our great Celebrity of the day is Nollywood base actor who has starred in various British Television series and International Films. He attended the Holy Trinity School in Kano State, Nigeria and later went on to be trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England. Some of the British Television shows and series he was starred in the 1970s include;  'Barlow at Large', 'The ventures', 'Till Death Us Do Part', 'Angels', '1990', 'The Tomorrow People', 'The Professionals' and 'The Goodies'. Also he was starred in some International Movies in the 1980s, some of which are; 'John Irvin's War Film', 'The Dogs of War'. He has starred in over 120 Nollywood movies.

Awards: Olu Jacobs has won several awards in the Movie Industry, one of such is the Industry Merit Award for Outstanding Achievements in Acting at the 2013 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. Also in 2007, he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
