Professionalism is the product of your skill, intellect, the way you speak, carry yourself, and your looks. It is all about presenting yourself and your brand to your public in a way that captures their attention to you. There is a level of packaging that is acceptable world wide, that should be your level of refinement, for example when people work in an organization they do not see the reason of connecting with others about their organization, this is wrong.
A lot of persons see professionalism as just going to school and studying a professional course such as medicine or engineering but they fail to understand that professionalism go way beyond that. It is the ability of you as an individual to package your service to others in such a way that they are very impressed at whatever you do. Speaking more on this, a lot of graduates today fail to be professionals not because of what they studied in school but because they refuse to package what they learned in school in a way that attracts employers of labour and various NGOs to them.
In conclusion, professionalism is adding a little more to what you studied or what you can do, it is your ability to perfect whatsoever you can do in such a way that it attracts others to you who needs your help or assistance.
