Our celebrity of the day is Professor Akinwande Oluwole Soyinka, popularly referred to as Professor Wole Soyinka, a Nigerian playwright and poet. He was awarded the Nobel prize for Literature in the year 1986 thus making him the first black African to be honored in such category.
