QUOTE OF THE DAY: PRAYER IS NOT ASKING, IT IS A LONGING OF THE SOUL...

Quote of the day is credited to Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948), who led the people of India to Independence and inspired movements for Civil Rights and freedom around the world. He is fondly called 'Bapu', meaning 'father' or 'papa' in India.

QUOTE:

"Prayer is not asking, it is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart."

MORAL:

The reason most people pray is because they are strongly in need of something and the only way to do that is perhaps through prayer but the truth of it all is that prayer goes beyond all of that. Prayer is a total commitment to God, it is having a strong connection and devotion with Him. It is not just any time you need something that you go to Him in prayers,  you must develop the habit of constantly admitting your weaknesses in his presence daily and most of all it must come from the heart and not just mare words because God reads our hearts.
In conclusion, prayer is not just asking for anything, it is a longing of your soul towards God and its better you pray from your heart than just altering vein words.
